Well I appreciate all of you that follow the blog on a regular basis. I also apologize for not having today’s post up at my regular time but I had my wife’s family in from Peru for the last week and I took some time away for a few days. But I will be back on my regular schedule this Thursday. But today I wanted to ask some questions of you if you do not mind.
First, I am working on one new book that concerns Federal workers and how they can retire to the best of their benefit. I know that this is a unique book and will have a limited audience but there is a method to my madness. First as a Federal employee, this is a topic that is near and dear to my heart, and second, my current master’s is in Financial Planning. So it made sense to me to marry these two passions and I came up with this book topic. My question to all of you is do you think I should proceed with this project? I have done the research for my own personal knowledge but feel it would also benefit others who may be in the same position I am in. There are a few similar books available on Amazon but as always mine will have a certain twist and differences that will be from my unique perspective and experience.
The second book I want to write is on risk management or as most everyone calls it, insurance. I want to cover most common insurance products such as:
• Life Insurance
• Health Insurance
• Automobile Insurance
• Homeowner’s Insurance
• Renter’s Insurance
• Umbrella Liability Policies
• Disability Insurance
• Long Term Care Insurance
While this is not all types of insurance these are the ones I plan on focusing on in particular. Is this a book topic that would interest you and one that you would want to read?
